INTRODUCTION

European Bike Week 2026 ( Faaker See) MTG proudly announces the launch of its 13th annual motorcycle tour to the legendary Faaker See Harley Davidson European Bike Week, held every year in Austria. The 2026 edition will take place from September 7 to 17 offering participants a unique experience that blends breathtaking alpine routes with the vibrant spirit of Europe's largest motorcycle festival. Our main accommodation will be in the stunning city of Villach, Austria, located right at the crossroads of three beautiful countries. This exceptional location allows our daily morning rides to explore the best routes across Austria, Slovenia, and Italy, returning each afternoon to Villach for the exciting evening festival events and celebrations. Daily rides range between 150 km and 220 km, perfectly balanced to deliver enjoyable riding, spectacular European landscapes, and the premium level of organization that MTG has provided for more than 12 years across the Alps and Europe. This is more than just a trip, It's an experience that brings together the passion of riders at Europe's biggest motorcycle event.

TOUR PROGRAM

Day 01: Munich - Germany: Participants will be welcomed upon arrival at Munich International Airport and transferred directly to the accommodation in Munich. In the evening, a welcome dinner will be held, offering a chance for participants to get to know each other and meet the MTG team, followed by a detailed briefing on the tour program and preparations for the upcoming days.

Day 02: Villach-Austria: After breakfast, the support vehicle takes the luggage, and the riders head to pick up their motorcycles. The journey kicks off with an unforgettable 350 km ride toward Villach, carving through picturesque countryside roads, epic alpine curves, and refreshing stops for lunch and coffee. Arrival in Villach by evening ready for the true European riding experience to begin.

Day 03: Slovenia Ride & Harley-Davidson Gathering: After breakfast at the hotel, the day starts with a visit to the Harley-Davidson dealership in Klagenfurt, where riders from different countries gather for morning celebrations and light festivities. The route continues into the Slovenian mountains, offering thrilling twisty roads and scenic landscapes, followed by leisurely rides through Slovenia's beautiful countryside. By afternoon, the group returns to Austria to join the evening events of the European Bike Week.

Day 04: Slovenia & Italy Mountain Adventure: After breakfast, the ride sets off toward the Slovenian Italian mountains, diving into a day filled with adventure, sharp twists, and stunning alpine scenery. The group continues through exhilarating mountain roads until reaching an Italian town for a relaxing lunch stop. In the afternoon, the ride returns to Austria to enjoy the evening festivities of the European Bike Week.

Day 05: Austrian Alps Ride: UNESCO Nature Reserve: After breakfast, the ride heads deep into the Austrian Alps, exploring a stunning UNESCO nature reserve known for its dramatic landscapes and legendary 52 alpine curves. The day includes multiple scenic stops, a relaxing coffee break, and a lunch stop surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. In the afternoon, the group continues the ride back to Villach to enjoy the evening at the European Bike Week.

Day 6: Final Day of the European Bike Week: Parade & Free Day: The final day of the European Bike Week Faaker See 2026 is an open and optional day for all participants. Riders who wish to join the legendary Harley-Davidson Parade can take part in the 150 km ride starting from the Harley Village, with more than 10,000 riders from around the world participating in this iconic event. Alternatively, participants may choose to relax and simply enjoy watching the parade as it passes through Villach, right in front of the accommodation area. A flexible day for everyone to enjoy the festival atmosphere in their own way.

Day 07: From Villach to Zell am See: The Grossglockner Experience: After breakfast, luggage is handed over to the support vehicle, and the ride begins toward Zell am See. The route leads through the beautiful Austrian countryside and deep into the Austrian Alps, featuring one of Europe's most iconic mountain roads: the legendary Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The day includes scenic photo stops, a relaxing coffee break, and a lunch stop surrounded by breathtaking alpine views before continuing the journey to Zell am See.

Day 08: Kaprun Glacier & Zell am See: Today's ride takes on a more relaxed and touristic style. The group will visit the spectacular Kaprun Glacier (Kitzsteinhorn), followed by a stop at the region's beautiful waterfalls and gorges. The day concludes with free time to enjoy the charming lakeside atmosphere along the shores of Lake Zell in Zell am See.

Day 09: Return to Munich: The final motorcycle day begins with the ride from Zell am See back to Munich. Upon arrival, participants will return the motorcycles, followed by a transfer to the hotel in Munich for a relaxing evening after an unforgettable week of riding.

Day 10: Munich - Germany: A Relaxing Day in Munich After days of thrilling rides and breathtaking landscapes, it's time to unwind and enjoy a relaxing free day in Munich. Participants can explore the city's famous landmarks such as Marienplatz Square, stroll along Kaufingerstrasse shopping street, or simply relax at one of Munich's cozy Bavarian cafes and restaurants. This final day offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on the unforgettable adventure, capture a few last memories, and prepare for the journey home taking with you the spirit of MTG and the beauty of Germany's open roads.

Day 11: Munich - Germany: Farewell and Departure The final morning of the journey arrives, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure filled with breathtaking landscapes, new friendships, and the pure joy of the open road. After breakfast, participants prepare to check out from the hotel and bid farewell to the beautiful city of Munich, carrying home wonderful memories from an extraordinary European motorcycle experience. Please note that hotel check-out time is at 12:00 PM. The MTG Team will coordinate departures smoothly, ensuring every participant's journey home begins comfortably and on time. Though the tour comes to an end, the memories, laughter, and bonds created along the way will remain forever until the next adventure with MTG begins.
